Kalin Serapionov was born in Vratza in 1967 and he currently lives and works in Sofia. He mainly deals with the artist’s role in contemporary society, extending it to a widen investigation about social behaviors around him which characterize present time, fragmented, unclear and globalized. Mainly using the video practice, the artist investigate private and collective behaviors in public spaces and delves into cultural and gender identity topics.
